Intentional:
1. done with intention or on purpose; intended 2. of or relating to intention or purpose
I had a different word picked out for this project, and then in the last few days I changed it. The first word I had chosen was fun, but it just didn’t have the depth I was looking for. With the start of the new year, and thinking about my goals, resolutions, and what I want to accomplish in 2015, I’ve come to realize that I am still struggling with things I have been struggling with for the past 20 years or more. I have grown in that time, but there is still so much I want to improve. I’ve chosen the word intentional because this year I want to be more intentional in the way I live my life. I want to be more intentional with my relationship with God. I want to be more intentional with my relationships with my family and friends. I want to be more intentional with the way I treat my body. I want to be more intentional with my photography, and the way I live my life in general. I feel like so much of the time I am just hanging on from one thing to the next, just trying to get through the day. I want my life to have purpose and meaning. I want to control my life instead of my life controlling me. I want to live an intentional life, starting now!
I would love it if you would join me in Project One Word this year! All you need to do is choose a word to describe the coming year, take one picture a week centered around your word, and post it for us to see. Next, leave me a comment with the link to your blog post. You can also post it on instagram using hashtag Projectoneword.
