More about Jarom
What a fun, easy going kids Jarom is. He is a joy to have around. He likes to crack jokes to and make everyone smile.
This past year he has grown a foot and is still growing. He is 6 feet tall now, and he towers over me. People who haven’t seen him for a while always remark about how tall he has gotten and how grown up he looks.
Jarom went on a week long, river float trip with his scout troop this summer. It would have been a great experience if he hadn’t of come down with the flu on the second day of the trip. He had a fever, the chills, ached all over, and had a really bad sore throat. He said he slept a lot of the time, and he was just to sick to do much rowing.
Jarom worked hard all summer babysitting and splitting fire wood to earn the money for his float trip, and was able to purchase all of the gear he needed on his own. His gear was several hundred dollars and we are really proud of him that he made it a priority to earn the money for it himself.
Jarom is very musically gifted and spends hours a day practicing and learning new piano songs. Music is a passion of his and he sure enjoys the new piano we have thanks to Grandpa John and Grandma Nancy.
For Jarom’s birthday pictures I really wanted to get a few pictures of him playing hockey. He has really enjoyed playing this year after taking a few years off. He begs to go to the rink any chance he gets and so when it warmed up last week into the 20s and 30s I took all the kids to the outdoor rink. I hope he doesn’t mind a few pictures of his brother and sisters with his birthday pictures. They all had so much fun that day.
