Fun Facts About Mya

After being such a hard baby and toddler Mya sure has become a delight to be around.  She is such a sweetie with an enormous tender heart.  She is always coming to me to give me a kiss or to tell me she loves me.

Mya enjoys playing for hours upon hours with her little animal figurines and barn.  She plays horses with her sisters and she has been so excited for winter to come so she can drink hot chocolate to warm up.

A well know fact about Mya, around the Lowry house, is how much she HATES church.  She dreads Sunday coming and starting on Saturday afternoon she starts telling us how much she hates church and she doesn’t stop until we are home from church on Sunday afternoon.  Her biggest problem with it is how long it is, and the fact that she has to go to class without mom or dad.

Mya has had a lot of exciting things happen this year.  First, she became a big sister!  Yay!  She anxiously awaited Camdon’s arrival from the moment she found out we were having a baby.  We got her a shirt that said, “I’m going to be a big sister,”  and it was her favorite shirt.  We are happy to report that she fell right into her new role as a big sister.  She loves to dote on her baby brother and is mom’s big helper.

Second, she has started sleeping in her own bed all night.  Another yay!  Shawn and I thought that day might never come.   Shawn told her years ago that when she started sleeping in her own bed all night long he would take her to McDonald’s to get a milk shake.  Well, two weeks ago she finally got that shake.  It was a great day people. Yes, it was.
